We left behind a beautiful year of cinema, like 2015. It was a year when beautiful films were released, records were broken, remakes thrived, and superheroes saved the world over and over.
Here are the best movies of the year in my opinion:
- Mad Max: Fury Road
- Whiplash
- Predestination
- Me and Earl and the Dying Girl
- Hot Girls Wanted
- It Follows
- Amy
- Mustang
- White God
- Ex Machine
- Inside Out
- Wild Tales
- Tangerine
- The Man from UNCLE
Frankly, I didn’t have much trouble making this list because the number of movies that could affect me was very few this year. But I take my hat off to these 14 movies… In general, Mad Max: Fury Road is the year’s best movie. Another and only movie that got me so excited in recent years was Whiplash, which was released in the same year. The movies in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th places are almost not on anyone’s list, but these three are the year’s most successful movies. In particular, Predestination and Me and Earl and the Dying Girl are not appreciated enough. Although it was an award-winning film at Sundance, only IMDB added Me, Earl and the Dying Girl to its list of the best of the year. Likewise, White God is one of the films that is not on anyone’s list, but would be called one of the best of the year if watched.
